Nara Japan

Nara is the capital city of Nara Prefecture, situated in the Kansai region of Japan. The city is located in the northern part of Nara Prefecture, adjacent to Kyoto Prefecture. There are eight temples, shrines, and ruins in Nara, specifically Tōdai-ji, Saidai-ji, Kōfuku-ji, Kasuga Shrine, Gangō-ji, Yakushi-ji, Tōshōdai-ji, and the Heijō Palace. Along with the Kasugayama Primeval Forest, these sites collectively make up the "Historic Monuments of Ancient Nara", a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
